Partners in Care Ltd was started in March 1999 by Glyn and Hilary Waterhouse. With 35 years of residential childcare experience behind them they believed that small, non-institutionalised children's homes that catered for 1 - 2 young people and offered a safe, nurturing environment was the best way to help and support vulnerable and damaged young people.

Based in the North Lancashire/Cumbria and South Lanarkshire area, Partners in Care Ltd presently operates five small homes and a purpose-built bungalow that offers semi-independent training in life skills, preparing young people for their move to future independent living.

All our homes are registered by Ofsted/Care Commission and Partners in Care Ltd has been awarded the Quality Standard Award by NAIRC, thus demonstrating a high standard of accommodation and childcare. We also hold the Investors in People Standard which we have successfully maintained following a post-recognition review held on 26 May 2005.
