Before commencing employment all staff attend a training programme in Child Protection and Physical Intervention training. Staff will then attend further training in line wit current legislation. Once completed all staff embark on NVQ3 Caring for Children and Young People. Staff also attend training in Basic First Aid, Food Handling, Moving & Handling, Fire Awareness and Basic Health & Safety. This training will be provided at no cost to the employee.

Staff will also be expected to undertake other continuing professional development training as and when required. All training will require a commitment from the staff to study for an award or qualification in some of their own time.
